Goring United Reformed Church is part of the United Reformed Church in the United Kingdom, and locally, a Joint Pastorate with St Andrew's Church in Rustington.

The United Reformed Church has over 1700  churches in England, Scotland and Wales with a total membership exceeding 92000.

The country  is divided into 13 areas called Provincial Synods and the Synods are further divided into Districts.

Goring URC has a membership of approximately 100 with a morning congregation of about 80.

As well as meeting for worship in our own Church, we enjoy meeting with our other United Reformed friends in the Worthing Area Team, but we are also fortunate to share worship with Christians from other denominations in Goring by Sea.

The Church is located in the Southern Synod and Sussex West District.

The District spreads from Chichester and Bognor Regis in the west to Telscombe Cliffs in the east and to Pulborough in the north.

The United Reformed Church shares the Christian faith with other Churches - for example, The Roman Catholic Church, Church of England, Baptist and New Life, Methodist and Salvation Army to name a few.  There are others but these are the mainstream churches in the United Kingdom.  The Christian Church of course is spread worldwide.

Did you know that one of the main reasons why the Church exists is for the benefit of those who don't attend?

In belonging and joining the Christian fellowship we are convinced that you will find the love and affection that comes through knowing Jesus Christ.
